Monitoring reports of youth justice residences

Documented here is Mana Mokopuna - Children and Young People's Commission's OIA response to a request dated 6 July 2023 for "statistics regarding incidents in Oranga Tamariki residences from 2017 to present."

The reports listed below, released under the OIA, describe the findings of the then-Office of the Children's Commissioner's 2017 monitoring of Care & Protection and Youth Justice Residences as a NPM under OPCAT. The 2017 reports were not previously published online.

The monitoring reports from 2018 to present are available online and are published as they are completed.
